Today was the official dedication of the new soccer field in Overbrook. Frito Lay was a sponsor of the project, so they were at the games this morning with free stuff and Chester Cheeta was at the game. I remember saving all sorts of cheetos upc codes when I was in high school so I could get a stuffed Chester! I wonder where that thing is at? Anyhow, Preston and Quincy were pretty excited to get free cheetos, free Frito Lay bags, and a 'stress potato' plus they willingly agreed to stand and get a photo with Chester! The other kids were not as excited, nor would they let me take a photo!
Quincy played goalie this morning for an entire period....it was a very nerve racking period to watch - she does not have the greatest attention span when on the field, and even playing goalie she did not really pay attention. Luckily the ball stayed mostly at the other end of the field! She certainly thought it was a cool thing to do!

This is Preston and one of his best buds! They are pretty funny together!
As I mentioned earlier, Quincy does not have the greatest attention span during soccer games. She was laying down kicking her feet like it was a day at the beach - during a time out! She was pretty pleased with sitting out the second half and cheering the team on again this week! It kind of cracks me up!
The kids' 4-H club had their fall party this evening. Madison and Mallory helped with the games, fire pit, and some of the other stuff.
They did NOT come up with the idea of playing cow tongue football though!!!
And although they were initially not excited about it at all, I saw Madison get a really nice interception! I also saw Colin smack Mallory in the head with the tongue!
