5K Saturday (and more!)

Colin's club wrestling team hosted a 5K run/walk this morning.

Madison and Mallory were the water station girls.

And Cameron ran in the race.

I had placed a little wager on Cam winning --(bad parenting perhaps, but Colin was being pretty cocky). I was truly impressed with both boys, they both ran hard, they both finished the entire 5K and they both placed - Colin got 2nd place and Cam got 3rd in their age bracket. (Good job boys). Jim was an official timer, Harper and I were sign holder/traffic blockers. That is about my speed on this type of an event!

Quincy participated in the one mile fun run, and she got a medal as well!

We went from the race to football practice for Cam and a soccer game for Preston and Quincy. This was the first week that their soccer team did not act like they were intimidated and they played really well! Their team won 4-1!

Preston had a couple of really nice stops at goalie!

Quincy told coach Jim that she played enough in the first half, and she did not want to play in the second half! She cheered her team on from the sidelines though!

Now we are in the big process of getting Mallory moved into her new room. Quincy has repeatedly told her to get her stuff out of her room!

I hope that we can get Harper and Quincy moved into Mallory's old room by the end of the weekend. That is the goal for now, but I think it might be a little bit of a stretch of reality!
