At long last, the vacation we have been waiting for arrived! We got a decently early start and made great time! We did have to wait for a tree to be moved out of the road. We arrived at our cabin at Beaver Lake! The kids were happy to get out of the car. The adults were happy to see that the cabin was as promised on the internet. It sits in a quiet cove of the lake. I very much enjoyed an evening sitting on the deck watching fishermen and listening to the frogs.
We have a lot of adventures planned. I hope the weather cooperates!
Either way, I think we all could use a little time away!
