These three plus Lauren and Spencer attended a concert in Wichita last night. They were the last of the gang to arrive at the lake today. It was good to have everyone here together.
Jim and Andrew were up at the literal crack of dawn to hit the lake to try to catch small mouth bass. They were successful and I’m telling you, I’m not sure when I’ve seen Jim more excited. For the record, my husband loves fishing. He has always loved it. For the last probably 20 years, he has occasionally gone fishing, and then would comment that he wanted to go more often. This spring, Andrew has been taking him out. It has made him so happy. I’m very thankful that our son in law loves fishing as much as Jim and they can be fishing buddies. Today was a day for swimming and fishing since the weather was so nice and it’s not supposed to be tomorrow.
Skipping rocks, relaxing, fishing, swimming, taking out Andrew’s boat, kayaking and all things lake today. It has been a good day!
