Quincy wanted to have a pool party for her birthday with one of the kids from the restaurant where she works. So we planned a party for Quincy and Andres. There were tacos, there was cake. Madison made so many cookies. The kids had fun swimming! It was a fun night. Evelyn didn’t want to leave!
I am very impressed with the amount of Spanish that Quincy has picked up. She was having full conversations in Spanish. It is very impressive for a kid who has never taken a class. They have just taught her a new language. It is also apparent that Quincy loves this family, and that they love her as well. We are so lucky that she got to have the experience of working for the Alvarez family.
It was a fun night, but I am excessively ready for bed!
