Last week, we got an unexpected package in the mail. Our summer has been a weird blur of running and we got in around 11 one night. The package was in the mail, and I assumed Jim had ordered something. We quickly realized it was a fun surprise. Uncle Ray had been busy! We got a box full of memories, and ice cream float spoons for everyone! It was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, at 11 pm there is no place here to buy ice cream! My kids do love ice cream floats though! Today, Mallory brought the makings to Sunday lunch. Thank you Uncle Ray for the great idea and the memories.
Our neighbor’s dog sort of thinks she lives here. This weekend, we have been dog sitting. Now she officially owns the place. Luckily, she’s a pretty good dog.
