Cameron, Lauren and Bella made it to their new location. Cameron said they got the U-haul unloaded and turned back in. He seemed relieved to be driving a car again. He was full of funny stories and mentioned that they had seen an alligator when walking Bella. Good thing Bella is a big old girl- should be harder for a gator to make a snack of her! Lauren said the apartment is really nice and she was happy with it. I imagine moving into an apartment that you had never seen before was a little bit nerve wracking! I’m happy that they made it safely and got Cameron his first Louisiana moon pie! Accomplishments!
No more ball games means more free time. Right? Ummm no. Now we are in budget season for mom and dad, have an enormous amount of appointments to get to before school starts, time to get moving on fair projects, and yesterday we made 2 batches of jam. Peach, and peach jalapeno- which finished up all of the work we created when we went berry picking on Saturday!
In the midst of the insane parts, I also found time to snuggle my sweet girls, and hang out with my big girls for a while. Our days are full, but so are our hearts.
