Quincy’s sweet 16

Today is Quincy’s 16th birthday.  She is pretty excited about her lesser restricted driver’s license.  She is an easy kid.  She is ornery, but has a good heart and although she sometimes gets in trouble, it is generally because she is trying to make people laugh.  She is a hard worker.  We often hear from her bosses how much they love her and how hard she works.     We love her and couldn’t be prouder of the almost adult she is growing into.
To celebrate, we had 3 softball games in three towns for the opening night of the tournaments. All three teams lost tonight, putting an end to summer ball 2022.  It was a fun season, and all the girls had a great time playing.  That being said, there were no overly sad people here this evening as we reported in for the evening with loss after loss. My girls all improved, and we had a lot of good memories made.  Also thank you to Mallory, who covered a game for us!

Quincy is now finished with Rec league ball.  She is too old to play next year.  Her last game was a loss, but  I am not exaggerating when I say she was amazing.  They put her in to pitch.  She was on fire.  She’s still got it, even after taking a couple years off of pitching.  She makes it look easy and was smiling and laughing the whole time.  She also ripped a monster hit to center field.   She had an awesome last game.
