I am having a hard time not running to Carbondale daily. Actually, I am not even trying to give the new baby time to settle in. There’s no reason to settle, the chaos is a permanent thing in this family. Wrenley is just going to have to get used to it! I did take them dinner! (Cause that makes it seem less like an invasion and more like a friendly, caring gesture right?). Madison and Andrew aren’t complaining yet!
And the baby was mostly awake so I’m sure that was a sign that she likes us all invading her space! Plus the girls hadn’t had a chance to meet their new niece! They highly approve!
By the 3rd or 4th pass off, I am not sure that Wrenley wasn’t done with our crap though! She sure is sweet!
And this one - got to go to lunch with all of us. We were laughing about how she likes to order her own lunch at the bar in town, then proceeds to go right behind the bar and get her own bag of chips. Someone thinks they own the place! She loves her little sister! We are so proud of how gentle she is with the baby. My heart is overflowing.
Madison and Andrew seem to be doing well with the increase in family size. They are natural parents. It is awesome to watch our family grow, and even more awesome to do it as a Grammy - so much fun!
