Cam had his first basketball game this morning (along with coach Jim). Their team won, and Cam had a great game, even though he hurt his knee a little bit.
Before the game, they had practice. While they were practicing, Colin and I ran to Topeka and picked up a few things at walmart. When we first got there, walmart was not busy at all, but all of the sudden it became overwhelming. I guess people were stocking up for the 'big storm' that is supposed to come in tomorrow! We even saw one lady who had 2 carts piled up with nothing but toilet paper and cat litter!?! I couldn't help but wonder where she worked, or if I would be seeing her on an episode of "Hoarders." Colin was a lot of help, but his tolerance of crowds and people are about as limited as mine!
When we got home from the basketball game, the boys went to the high school to help set up for the Trailhands tournament tomorrow. Preston is so excited about wrestling in his first tournament, and he is already weighed in, a whopping 42 pounds! We are all working at the tournament, working tables, or concession stands etc. It should be a good day I think, and I am thankful that it is not very far from home in case there really is a bunch of snow!
