Preston wrestled in his first tournament today. He had a pretty good day.
He went 1-2.
He got a very sweet pin!
And most importantly, a medal for 3rd place. He didn't care what kind of a medal it was, he just wanted one! He was pretty excited and proud of himself! I am proud that he went out and worked so hard!
I am not sure how many tournaments he will end up wrestling in...today's meet was hosted by our wrestling club. We kind of think its important to learn as much as you can before you start going to meets. He did have a great time though!
The other kids were a ton of help. Madison, Mallory and I worked in the concession stand, Jim was a table worker. Cam helped me keep Quincy and Harper entertained, and Colin kept track of Preston's matches and helped get him dressed and warmed up for them. It was a great day for the whole family!
